My boys, listening to a taped copy of the "Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" and enjoying the cool breezes on the patio. This picture also reminds me that I *really* *really* want to finish landscaping at least that half of the yard!

Desert Botanical Gardens

Colin took this picture in November at the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix.

Colin, however . . .

Colin is STILL feeling lousy. I coaxed him out in the backyard while I was pushing Nate on the swing, and he promptly fell back asleep. Julianna is guarding him, as usual.

Nate is feeling much better

Nate is pretty much over whatever lousy cold/virus the boys picked up right after Christmas. Here he is mugging for the camera.

cruise

We took a Mexican Riviera cruise at the end of September last year. It was an amazing family vacation - one that I hope we can repeat. I'm going to put up some of the pictures from that cruise in the next few posts. This one is from our first night at sea!

Mazatlan

Mazatlan was a beautiful city. We hired a driver to drive us around "Old Mazatlan" for a couple hours. He kept extolling the virtues of "New Mazatlan" but we were happy with the scenery we saw and weren't interested in million dollar homes or expensive resorts.

Towel Animals

Every night, there was a new towel animal waiting for us after dinner. The elephant was one of the boys' favorites.
