busy day
We haven't done much lately other than necessary errands, so it was a special day today when we visited both the Museum of Youth and the Mesa Southwest Museum (luckily, they're only a block apart!)
The boys had fun, and Lydia enjoyed herself, too.

we love books
We have always read to our children, and this past year Colin has started reading to us as well. Nate is looking forward to the day when he starts reading independently. We have a strong love for books and they fill our home! A few years ago, I started selling Usborne Books as a way to get a discount on these great books, and also earn a little extra money for our household. This last year, especially, was pretty hectic and I didn't do much with the business -- but I wanted to let everyone know that our website is still up & active and you are free to browse through it if you're looking for wonderful children's books.

swing
Lydia got a new toy last week! She seemed to like swinging motions, so we thought we'd try a swing for her. She loves it! It's been good for that early evening fussy time, as well as hanging out and watching puppet shows put on by her brothers. Speaking of her brothers -- yes, they're still here! They've had a busy few weeks attending camp at our local natural history museum, the zoo and our church. I didn't get pictures of any of that, though! We're heading into a low-key July, so expect more pictures of them.
