Wanted to visit the potato chip factory, but they were closed :(

The JFK museum in Hyanis, MA was open for visitors, though!

We finished up our sightseeing with this lighthouse! Busy day tomorrow (and the rest of the week) so we've got to get back to the hotel and do some laundry before we hit the sack!

Hotel Living

Ellie & Bo have a nice king-size bed at the hotel. I guess that's a good thing, since Bo is sharing the bed with an elephant!

Elephant in Boston

Nate sewed this elephant for his father, and it has lived in Bo's truck ever since. Monday night, Bo moved it into his computer bag and took it with him to Boston. Here's the elephant enjoying the view from the plane window.

Expect more pictures of the elephant's adventures as Bo checks out the economic climate in Boston.

(For those that don't know, he accepted a new position with Sears in Boston. It's potentially a very good opportunity, so we're exploring different options -- but it looks like the kids & I will stay in AZ for now.)

Easter 2009

It rained yesterday, which meant we missed the AJ Easter Egg Hunt for the first time in 5 (?) years. It rained on and off all day and night, so the Easter Bunny had to hide eggs inside this year. The kids still had fun, but an indoor hunt went by MUCH faster than our usual backyard hunts.

Beautiful day, today! The kids got lots of great treats in their baskets and we're home from Mass before noon. Other than moving some stuff into the new storage shed and making dinner, no other plans for the day.

Out in the Desert

Disney on Ice

We attended Disney on Ice last night and had an awesome time! (Or should I say an Incredible time?) The show was lots of fun, Lydia and the boys laughed bunches and were entranced by the skating and the story. It is an extremely well-done show and very entertaining.

On Top of Silly Mountain

The boys, Bo & Beulah took a hike on Silly Mountain this afternoon. They reached the top with no problems and enjoyed the view!
