15 months

She picked out the outfit herself from the store. She LOVES the color red.

She's a busy munchkin with lots to say and lots to do. She's gregarious just like her father, and is most excited when she finds other kids her size. Unfortunately, most kids aren't as friendly as she is and they try to hide from her.

There's a picture of her aunt in the same pose as the first picture that I have to look for because I think they look an awful lot alike. Bunny may have been a bit older, but the expression is very familiar ;)

Happy Birthday, Unka Matt!!!

We hope you're having a wonderful birthday! (even if you do have to work) These were some of my favorite shots of you and the kids from last summer. Love you!

How to Draw an Eagle

Grandpa and Aunt Bunny got the kids this great easel and they have made almost constant use of it! Here you can see Colin's latest art lesson -- just in case you wanted to learn how to draw an eagle!

Littlest Badger

My good friend, Ann (who I owe a letter to!), has given us a number of Wisconsin Badger shirts over the years. I love this outfit on Lydia, and love that her brothers wore the shirt before her!

Lydia Walking

Well, I can't figure out how to rotate the video so it's right-side up but when I tried to take another video of her walking, she just collapsed on the ground irritated that I wouldn't give her the "phone."

If anyone knows how I can rotate it, let me know -- thanks!

My 3 kids on the 4th

Fourth Food

Bo slow cooked beef ribs over apple wood for hours, then basted them with a homemade barbecue sauce (recipe thanks to his buddy, Charlie). They were SCRUMPTIOUS!

Lydia liked the watermelon best. I also found out that the reason she has refused hats the last 14 months is because I kept buying the wrong color! As soon as I bought a red hat, she has been happily wearing it.

We also enjoyed Bo's grilled potatoes and onions, broccoli, baked beans (cooked with a jar of salsa - try it! I hear they were quite tasty.) and fresh yeast rolls. It was a delicious dinner.

I hope you enjoyed your Fourth celebrations!
