And then he was 6!
Another love of Nate's is construction vehicles, so I made him this cake for his 6th birthday (thanks to the April 2008 Family Fun for the idea!)The kids always choose their birthday dinners, and Nate chose grilled chicken, brown rice, steamed broccoli and corn on the cob. I think he ALWAYS has broccoli for his birthday, LOL!
Only 5 for a few more hours!

Nate's 1st cake
Last Sunday was a big celebration day. We celebrated Mother's Day, Lydia's birthday (a few days late) and Nate's birthday (a few days early!) His cake had a military theme, which he loved!
Lydia's Cake
Lydia had an ear infection and felt lousy on her birthday, so we waited until my parents were in town to have her first birthday cake. She really enjoyed the cake, and actually ate it rather neatly until the end.
