Bo slow cooked beef ribs over apple wood for hours, then basted them with a homemade barbecue sauce (recipe thanks to his buddy, Charlie). They were SCRUMPTIOUS!

Lydia liked the watermelon best. I also found out that the reason she has refused hats the last 14 months is because I kept buying the wrong color! As soon as I bought a red hat, she has been happily wearing it.
We also enjoyed Bo's grilled potatoes and onions, broccoli, baked beans (cooked with a jar of salsa - try it! I hear they were quite tasty.) and fresh yeast rolls. It was a delicious dinner.
I hope you enjoyed your Fourth celebrations!
